Your First Visit

We provide gentle and compassionate care in a friendly, non-judgemental environment. We always focus on evidence-based diagnosis, patient education, and working with you to build a treatment plan that aligns with your oral health goals. 

Your first visit: 

Depending on what your referring dentist requests, your examination may involve examination of your entire mouth or just a specific area. Your examination may include: 

Extra and intra-oral examination, including: 

•  Clinical examination 
• X-rays 
• Evaluation of signs and symptoms of Periodontal Disease such as: 
  • Pockets 
  • Bleeding 
  • Mobile teeth 
  • Gum recession 
• Evaluation of your bite / occlusion
• Oral cancer screening 
• Assessment for implant placement to replace missing teeth 

A report will be sent to your dentist along with any radiographs that are taken.

Insurance & Financing 

If you have any questions about your dental insurance coverage, please first contact your dental insurance provider. If you need help understanding your insurance coverage, contact our office and let our staff assist you, but remember we have no access to this information – you will need to provide it to us. Your dental insurance may or may not cover the cost of your first visit. You may want to contact your dental insurance provider before your visit to find out.
